Spicy Honey Garlic Roasted Cauliflower Steaks
Ingredients
- 1 large head of cauliflower
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Remove the leaves from the cauliflower and trim the stem, ensuring it can stand upright.
- Using a large knife, carefully slice the cauliflower into 1-inch thick “steaks.” You should be able to get about 2-3 steaks from the center of the cauliflower. The remaining florets can be saved for another use.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, honey, minced garlic, smoked paprika, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
- Place the cauliflower steaks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush both sides generously with the honey garlic mixture.
- Roast the cauliflower in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the edges are golden brown and the cauliflower is tender.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a couple of minutes. Drizzle any remaining honey garlic mixture over the steaks.
- Garnish with fresh chopped parsley before serving.
